" Well, that was fun! " !
At the beginning of January, I organized a trip to London to celebrate my birthday; a change of scenery would do me good. Before leaving, I printed out a QR code from my website page to advertise myself in London, and stuck them everywhere, so I left my mark there!
When I got back, I was in for a nice surprise, I received orders from my first customers. A feeling of disbelief and immense happiness came over me...I cried.
My family gave me gifts, my husband was my first customer, he bought stickers and notebooks and gave them to his colleagues.
I had ordered cardboard envelopes and smaller envelopes for the stickers, buying them in bulk to get a better price. My supplier offered to pay for my order the following month, which was a first for me.
My products included notebooks and sketchbooks. The first prototypes were difficult to make, I had trouble assembling the pages correctly, I had to master the technique of folding sheets and they took a long time to make. It was a great time of experimentation!
For my mailings, I offered a tracking option. One day I had to send some notebooks to a very good friend, so I went to the post office and came away with a tiny yellow sticker with the tracking number.
When I got back to the office, I realized I'd lost the sticker, so I looked all over the entrance to the office, but nothing. So I decided to retrace my steps back to the post office. I took the elevator back and started looking around the front of the building until I got to the post office!
I should have stuck that damn microscopic sticker on a piece of paper as soon as I got it! Still no sign of him; I went back to the office and... nothing. I knew that if my friend didn't have a tracking number, it wasn't a big deal, but I had to be serious about my protocol to make sure it didn't happen again.
I was about to take the elevator when, quite by chance, I looked down at the door and, miraculously, I saw a little yellow sticker who looked at me and said, " Well, that was fun! " !
